We have open roles to cast for the upcoming Autumn productions of Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller and The Madness of Lady Bright by Lanford Wilson.
Death of a Salesman
Often referred to as the ‘great American tragedy’, Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman addresses loss of identity and a man’s inability to accept change within himself and society. The play is a montage of memories, dreams, confrontations, and arguments, all of which make up the last 24 hours of Willy Loman’s life. The play concludes with Willy’s suicide and subsequent funeral.
Directed by Daniel Toyne, this production of Death of a Salesman will return to Miller’s original title concept of “Inside of his head”.
We are casting the roles of Howard Wagner (Willy’s boss) and Bernard (Charley’s son).” Both actors should be able to act 30s.
The show dates are: 25, 26, 27 September and 2, 3, and 4 October 2020.
The Madness of Lady Bright
The Madness of Lady Bright by Lanford Wilson is the story of the aging drag queen Leslie Bright who, alone in his New York apartment, remembers and relieves various past encounters. Two characters, Boy and Girl, accompany him and comment on what they witness.
We are casting the roles of Boy and Girl.
Performance dates are: 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29 November 2020.
