Online Intro to Directing
Have you ever wondered what it takes to direct a play for the theater? Are you toying with the idea of directing, but you don’t have any experience and you aren’t sure where to start? Have you directed your first play, but you weren’t entirely happy with the experience and feel that you could have done something better?
Note: This is a course for those who have little to no directing experience. There is a considerable amount of play reading involved. This course will take place online on 4 Saturdays from January 29 to February 19.
During this preliminary course, the participants will learn the preparation necessary to choose a play, develop a directorial concept, cast the play and communicate with designers (lights, costumes, set, props, sound).

Times: 10 am to 2 pm (CET)
Venue: Online
