By popular public demand, FEST is happy to offer the first in a series of Improv Workshops!
Improvisation is about living in the moment, trusting your instincts and not planning ahead. Through practical techniques participants will encourage spontaneity and simply enjoy having a place to play. There is no right or wrong, and participants are guaranteed a generous dose of silliness. Consisting of two four hour sessions over two days and led by FEST’s very own Lea Dunbar, this Workshop is a wonderful opportunity to create theatre that is truly unique and to interact with other fans of improv.
The first session will focus on breaking barriers, ceasing to be self-critical, experimenting with status and trusting yourself and those around you. The second day will build on what we will have achieved as a group, honing our skills and reacting to impulses.
