The monthly play reading will be Picasso at the Lapin Agile by Steve Martin.
Steve Martin is perhaps best known for being a comedian and the star of many films, but this talented all-rounder actually started as a writer, before becoming an actor. He is also known as a musician (banjo and piano) and yes, has written a number of plays, as well as musicals and novels.
The play we will read is based on a fictional meeting of Einstein and Picasso in the year 1904. Both men, on the cusp of fame, discuss in amusing terms, the process of creativity.
