Whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or looking to sharpen your craft, a workshop led by an experienced acting coach can help you build confidence, refine your technique, and unlock new creative potential in a supportive, professional environment.

The Two-Day Acting Fundamentals Workshop Intensive course is designed to introduce participants to the basic skills and techniques needed to take on a role, develop the character, and properly prepare for performances.

The course is designed for beginners with no experience, or those who have had one or two small roles and want to further develop their fundamental skills.

A partial list of course content includes:

  • Mock auditions
  • Basic text analysis and acting a script
  • Character analysis and development
  • Stage Movement techniques
  • Relaxation, concentration, presence, and warm-up techniques
  • The rehearsal process
  • Technical rehearsal, Opening Night, Stage and theatre protocols

The course will use a combination of theory, exercises, and practical application of techniques, including preparing and acting monologues and short scenes.
