Jim Phetterplace, Jr’s Bio

FEST members and audiences will know Jim from his performances in Williams’ The Two Character Play, Graber’s Detainee, and most recently, Pinteresque, the evening of Harold Pinter plays, as well as his directorial work on Wertenbaker’s Our Country’s Good and Orton’s Loot.

His first degree was in acting and directing for the stage and he performed and directed for eight years in Chicago before coming to Germany, where he has worked in English and German with FEST, Shakespeare Frankfurt, the English Theatre, Oper Frankfurt, the Interkulturelle Bühne, one music video and two German-language short films. He is currently performing six roles in Antony & Cleopatra at the Internationales Theater Frankfurt.
